Trees of the Sun and Moon

Alexander the Great lived in the fourth century before Christ. He became a legendary figure already in his lifetime. Over the centuries he has been credited with many curious adventures and far ranging conquests.

Alexander's last victory in battle was followed by a period of wandering through unknown lands. In India het met Brahmans, naked philosophers who shared his thirst for wisdom. He then visited the fabled Sanctuary of the Sun and Moon. He consulted an oracle in the form of two talking trees. They predicted that his death was imminent.
